Collin Cranor and Craig Ploof are growing wines you’ll want to drink.
Collin Cranor and Craig Ploof have been working in different winemaking roles since 2009 in the Livermore Valley. Cranor and his family founded Nottingham Cellars, one of the region’s top producers of Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux Style Red Blends. Ploof began his career in the wine industry working for Steven Kent Winery and La Rochelle Winery, making Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, respectively. Both have garnered reputations as talented and detail oriented winemakers in their different roles in the industry. Cranor and Ploof became friends with a similar vision for how wine should be made; or rather how wines should be grown.
Shortly after the two launched Typicité, Ploof became the Director of Winemaking at Nottingham Cellars and Vasco Urbano, where he and Cranor work side by side on all three brands.
