Vineyard Partners

Every vineyard we partner with boasts a unique terroir, each lending its distinct voice to our wines.

Core Vineyards:

Gap’s Crown Vineyard, Sonoma Coast

Dutton Goff / Hallberg Vineyards, Russian River Valley

Tondre Grapefield, Santa Lucia Highlands

Bien Nacido Vineyards. Santa Maria Valley

These vineyards represent some of the most coveted Pinot Noir grapes in California and showcase the discernable qualities of the areas they are grown.

In addition to these 4 core sites, we are constantly exploring, looking for the next permanent fixture in our portfolio.

Typicite Wines

Winemaking

Collin Cranor and Craig Ploof first crossed paths in 2010 when they were both making wine in the Central Coast. One of the projects Craig was working on early in his career was La Rochelle, which was focused on single vineyard Pinot Noir from CA’s best coastal sites.

Eventually the brand sold, prompting Ploof and Cranor to start searching for a small amount of Pinot Noir to start a collaboration program that didn’t compete with either of their Cabernet day jobs. Typicite was born in 2017 with the purchase of Pinot Noir from Tondre Grapefield in Santa Lucia Highlands and Lichen Estate Vineyards in Anderson Valley…
